SBS segment on Candlebark and Fitzroy Community School.

Here is an eye opening video, that will make you re-think the traditional setting of a classroom that we are all familiar with.

Fitzroy Community School follow two fundamental components that underpin their ethics. These are:

1. They believe in explicitly engaging in the social, emotional and ethical dimensions of child development.

2. This unique, deliberately-constructed lifestyle of FCS allows this to happen

Candlebark School is located on the outskirts of Melbourne. This outdoor approach to learning focusses on the art side of learning and actively engages students in their environmental surroundings.

Both schools reflect the real life world which supports them for after school. The aim is to empower student choice, engagement and participation in their learning.
