It is important that once war-affected students return to normalcy, that they are in a supportive and safe environment. This can be difficult to obtain when once familiar and secure areas are destroyed and could potentially be targetted.
TWB states that "educators count children and reunite families by building child-friendly spaces". This is the hope that I want a learning space to have.
Catering for students needs in a 3rd world country should not be seen as unattainable. Resources and assistance are what needs to be put in place to allow meaningful learning to happen.
Learning is able to happen in a variety of different learning environments, settings, and spaces. There are no restrictions when it comes to the leaning space. This applies to all students in Australia, therefore, we can address it to Zaatari Refugee Camp.
